
Drug and Alcohol Screening:
Pre-employment urine drug screen tests are often done as part of a preplacement
physical examination. Our staff will collect the specimens and
forward the specimen to a certified laboratory for definitive testing. For
specimens with negative findings, the lab will normally report by the next
business day. Our staff will contact you with these negative reports. For an
employee with positive laboratory findings, our protocol dictates that one of
our certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) physicians contact the employee.
The MRO will evaluate possible medical causes for the positive report. A final
confirmed report would be forwarded to you, usually through a secure fax line
and by mail.
Same day turnaround on negative specimens is also available for certain types
of urine drug screens. Our staff can custom tailor a screening program to suit
your needs.
Our alcohol screening tests are done with modem computerized breath alcohol
detection equipment. We use DOT certified equipment and our technicians are
all certified as well.
We will provide random drug and alcohol screening. We can randomly select
and test your personnel based on your existing substance abuse policy, or use
one that we develop for you. The random selection process will be computer
generated. The entire process, including subject selection, can be conducted in
an unannounced manner and/or under our supervision.
